Disney On Ice Ticket Giveaway
Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10:09AM One of the things I try to keep in mind around the holidays is that the number of gifts my children receive will not make or break their Christmas. I think back to my childhood and there are only a handful of items I actually remember getting, a dollhouse, a bike ect. I know there were always tons of gifts under the tree, but most didn't create lasting memories. What I do remember vividly are the experiences I shared with my parents, visiting Storybook Land, driving through the White Mountains, Disneyworld and going to see Disney on Ice. Giving the gift of your time and sharing experiences with your children, those are the things worth spending our money on.

Although Coraline was small that last time Disney on Ice came to the Banknorth Garden here in Boston, she thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It truly is a magical experience worth sharing with your family. The show we saw last time was Toy Story, which Coraline had not even seen at the time. This December Disney on Ice comes to Boston with Treasure Trove. I'm super excited to bring the girls to the new show this year, it makes a perfect Holiday treat.

I came to the USA from Haiti when i was 10 years old not knowing anything about princesses or the "magical" world of Disney. Now, a mother of a 6 year old girl, i have no choice but to enter the enchanted world of Disney's princesses. I am learning about them as i am reading the stories to my daughter.
I am also learning that as much as i try to steer my daughter away from them, the more she's loving them. She has shown me multiple times what she wants me to get her for christmas, a box that has all (i'm not sure how amy there are) the princesses in their ball gowns. When she points the box out to me it's followed with "and mommy it has your favorite princess, princess Tiana."
A couple years ago i took her to seee Disney on Ice at the TD Banknorth Garden, although we were way up high in the balcony, we loved it! I say we because i enjoyed myself as much as my daughter did. It was very relaxing for me, unlike the movies where i have to cover her eyes from violent scenes! We both loved the singing and skating. I think my daughther was more mesmerized with them skating. I would love for us to share that magical time again.
Our favorite princess is Tiana! I love the message in the movie! And of course- we are a mixed caribbean family here and she is even more special because she resembles us a little bit more than the others. Second would be Ariel!
My daughters would say rapunzel, but for me it's a toss up between Ariel and Simba :)
My favorite disney character right now is Urusla. Sort of kidding, but when your 4 year old decides you look like Ursula, you gotta embrace her!
We love Mickey!

Ariel from the Little Mermaid is my favorite. Santa'a bringing my 2 year old the mermaid and her friends for Christmas. Her aunt is buying her the movie to go along with her gift.
Thanks!!
My daughters love Jasmine!!! She is fun, adventurous, and independent, just like my girls!
Cinderella and Snow White
I Love the Mickey Mouse character :D
If you asked my daughter, she would say Rapunzel!!
